Transmissivity Definitions

Aperture Ratio refers to the ratio between the actual shutter area or transmissive area of the LCD cell and the total area of the LCD cell.

Transmissivity is the amount of light that passes through the LC material, it’s associated color filters, and the polarizers compared to the totally transparent ideal.
